Ponytail hairstyles are another good option if you don't have a lot of time to prepare and you still want to look good. Time is a problem nowadays and since we do care much about the way we look, I consider ponytail haircuts a "nice escape". I usually tend to use high ponytails especially when I'm not in the mood of staying some hours in front of the mirror just to do my hairstyle. Also, going all the time to the hairstylist costs money and time, so I prefer the ponytails when I'm a little bit lazy. Anyway, this shouldn't mean you can't look beautiful, just because it took you less time to do your hair than usually.
Ponytail hairstyles for long hair are a great option, especially because they make you look more mature. If you have to attend to a special event and you have a beautiful dress, you can always choose a ponytail haircut. Also, if you have to spend a lot of time outside and there's a windy weather, you can go for a ponytail. Trust me, I know what I'm talking. When the wind blows your hair in the left or right, a ponytail is the best option.
In case you have curly hair, don't worry, ponytail haircuts for curly hair actually look pretty nice, just make sure your hair is long enough so you can catch it. Usually girls tend to choose the standard ponytail hairstyle, which is in the middle, but I've seen some ponytail hairstyles on a side and they looked quite amazing. Of course, it's a bit different from what most people choose, but that doesn't means it's necessarily a bad thing.
